The Frigidaire GLER1042FS is a discontinued / legacy electric dryer — no longer in production, but we still service it. This Gallery dryer offered 5.7 cu ft, three Auto Dry cycles, and a removable drying rack.

Treat a code on the GLER1042FS as a pointer, not a verdict. EAF means a control-board fault, E24 and E25 the thermistor, E5B and E64 a no-heat condition, and E8C the vent or high-limit — yet the reason most dryers dry badly is a lint-clogged vent, which no part swap will fix. Clearing the vent path and testing the heat circuit and sensors comes before any replacement. For the GLER1042FS, see dryer repair and our dryer error-code guides. You can check the GLER1042FS against the manufacturer listing at frigidaire.com, then work through our model directory and Frigidaire repair guides for the next step.
